Split System Air Conditioning

"Your guys came out this morning to instal my air con. I just wanted to call and tell you how impressed I was with the techs. The system was up and running in no time. I'm stoked!"   Troy, Burpengary   August 2011

Split systems are one of the most popular types of air conditioning in Australia and involve the installation of one indoor head unit and one outdoor unit. These are connected by pipes and wires.

A standard installation by Airmark includes the following:

  • Supply and installation of the air conditioner
  • 4 meter distance between indoor and outdoor unit
  • 20 meter distance from the outdoor unit to the switchboard
  • Concrete slab for outdoor unit to sit on
  • Cover duct to protect pipework and wire connecting indoor and outdoor unit

If you call us, we will endeavour to give you a price over the phone. By asking you the following questions, we will get a good idea of the job involved:-

  • Dimensions of each room that require air conditioning?
  • Whether the home is high or low set?
  • If the indoor unit will be installed on an exterior wall?
  • Where you expect the outdoor unit to be installed?
  • Brand preferences?
  • Budget restrictions?
